Learn about patterns of coercive control — in your own time
Coercive control can be difficult to recognize—especially when there has been no physical violence. MendRii is an educational tool designed to help you learn about patterns of coercive control and reflect on your experiences in your own time.
Educational only. Not a diagnosis, emergency, legal, or medical service.

Why MendRii Exists
MendRii was founded by a licensed mental health counselor and survivor of murder-suicide loss whose own relationship involved coercive control without a history of physical intimate-partner violence. In the aftermath, one question became impossible to ignore: What if we learned to recognize control before we waited for violence to prove that something was wrong?
MendRii grew from that question. Its purpose is to help give people language for patterns that can be difficult to see from inside a relationship—and to expand public understanding of coercive control beyond bruises, injuries, and other visible signs of abuse.
