What we collect and why
- Account data — your email and sign-in details, to run your account.
- Prior saved content — from a retired feature; stays restricted to your account until you delete it.
- Plan data — the plan you hold and when it renews or ends, for access and accounting.
- Technical data — IP address and basic request logs, for security and reliability.
- Support and newsletter data — what you send us and which emails you chose.
- Anonymous Check-In counts — totals only. No answers, names, or anything that identifies you.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share data with
- Hosting and database providers — to run the site and store account information.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record; handles the sale, payment and sales tax. We never see or store your full card number.
- Professional advisers — accountants or lawyers, where needed to run the business.
- Authorities — where the law requires.
Some providers operate outside your country, including in the United States, so your data may be processed there.
How long we keep it
- Prior saved records — until you delete them.
- Account records — deleted when you ask us to close your account.
- Purchase records — as long as tax law requires.
- Support emails — up to two years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can:
- Get a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or receive it in a portable form.
- Restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time.
- Delete saved content yourself from your account page — closing the account itself is done by emailing us.
Email us and we will respond within one month. In the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
- Traffic is encrypted in transit; stored data is encrypted at rest.
- Saved content is readable only by your own account.
- No formal security testing has been commissioned for this app.
- Please also protect your own device and password.
Cookies and analytics
- Only essential cookies — one to keep you signed in, one noting you accepted the use agreement.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Analytics count page views and events only — never your Check-In answers or email address.
Newsletter
- We store your name, email, your choices and the consent date — nothing else.
- Never sold, rented, or linked to your Check-In answers.
- Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Device safety
Visiting this site leaves normal browser history on your device. If someone may check your device, use the Quick Exit button (or Shift + Escape), clear your history, or use a device the other person cannot access.
Children
MendRii is intended for adults. If you are under 18 and worried about a relationship, talk to a trusted adult or one of the services on the Get help page.
Contact and changes
Email mendriiapp@gmail.com about your data, or delete it yourself from your account page. This notice may be updated as the app changes — the version you are reading is the current one.
