Who is responsible for your data

MendRii is operated by Jamason Counseling, LLC, trading as MendRii. For the personal data described below, Jamason Counseling, LLC is the data controller — meaning we decide what is collected and why, and we are the people you hold responsible for it. Contact us any time at support@mendrii.com.

If you are not signed in

The text you paste is sent to our server, passed to an AI model to be analysed, and the result is returned to your browser. We do not store the text or the result. We store only a random id kept in your browser plus a daily count, so free use can be limited fairly. That id is not linked to your name, email or device details.

If you are signed in

We store your email address (to run your account) and, if you choose to save something to a conversation, the text you saved and its analysis. Database rules restrict those rows to your account only. You can delete all of it from your account page at any time, and deletion is immediate.

What we collect, why, and on what basis

Account data — email address, sign-in identifier, and the date you joined. Used to create and run your account and to contact you about your purchase. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
Content you submit — the messages and context you paste, and the analysis produced from them. Used to give you your result, and stored only where you explicitly save a conversation. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
Plan and entitlement data — which plan you hold, when it renews or ends, and which reports you have unlocked. Used to give you the access you paid for. Basis: performance of our contract, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.
Technical and usage data — a random browser id, daily usage counts, IP address and basic request logs from our hosting provider. Used to keep free limits fair, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest in security, fraud prevention and service reliability.
Support messages — what you write to us and our replies. Used to answer you and to fix problems. Basis: legitimate interest and contract performance.
Waiting-list email — if you ask to be told when paid plans open, the email address you give us, used only for that one message. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw by emailing us.

We do not sell your data, we do not use what you paste for advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

AI processing

Analysis is performed by a third-party large language model accessed through our hosting provider's AI gateway. Text is sent for processing in order to produce your result and is not retained by us unless you save it.

Who we share data with

Hosting, database and AI providers acting as our processors, to run the site, store your account and produce analyses.
Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles the sale, subscription management, payment processing, invoicing, billing support and sales tax compliance for every order. Paddle handles your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, where needed to run the business.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Saved conversations are kept until you delete them or close your account, and are then deleted immediately. Account records are deleted when you close your account. Usage counters are kept for a rolling short period only. Records of purchases are kept for as long as tax law requires, then deleted or anonymised. Support emails are kept up to two years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email support@mendrii.com and we will respond within one month. You can also delete your account and all saved content yourself from your account page. If you are in the UK or EEA and unhappy with our response, you can complain to your data protection supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit, encryption at rest with our database provider, row-level access rules so your saved content is readable only by your account, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, so please also protect your own device and password.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and equivalent local storage: one to keep you signed in, and one random id used to count free analyses. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings; clearing the sign-in cookie signs you out.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting website analytics to count page views and product events (for example, that an analysis was run, or that a checkout was started). Analytics never receive the text you paste, your analysis results, your notes, or your email address. We use these aggregate numbers only to understand which pages and lessons are useful.

If you subscribe to our email updates we store your email address, the page you subscribed from, and the date you consented — nothing else. We use it only to send MendRii updates: new lessons, coercive control education, and product news. We never sell or rent it, and it is never linked to anything you paste into the analyser. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also email us to be removed at any time; we mark you unsubscribed rather than quietly keeping you on the list.

Device safety

Visiting this site leaves normal browser history on your device. If someone may check your device, use the Quick exit button (or Shift + Escape), clear your browsing history, or better still use a device the other person cannot access. We cannot control your browser's history.

Children

MendRii is intended for adults. If you are under 18 and worried about a relationship, please talk to a trusted adult or one of the services on the Get help page.

Contact and changes

Email support@mendrii.com for anything about your data, or use the delete option on your account page to erase it yourself. This notice may be updated as the app changes; the version you are reading is the current one.
