Who you are contracting with
MendRii is operated by Jamason Counseling, LLC ("we", "us"), trading as MendRii. By creating an account, buying a plan, or continuing to use this site, you agree to these terms. You confirm you are at least 18 years old. Questions: mendriiapp@gmail.com.
Educational purpose only
- MendRii guides reflection on relationship patterns commonly associated with coercive control and explains them.
- Nothing on this site is legal, medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, or risk assessment.
- Coercive control laws differ enormously between countries and states.
- For advice about your situation, consult a qualified lawyer, clinician or a specialist domestic abuse service.
No diagnosis of any person or relationship
- MendRii does not and cannot determine whether abuse has occurred, whether any person is abusive, or whether any relationship is healthy or safe.
- Its guided questions cover some patterns, not every form of harm.
- It cannot capture your full context.
Your decisions are your own
- Check-In results follow fixed educational rules and can be incomplete.
- They must not be relied on for legal, medical, clinical, safety or other regulated decisions without qualified human oversight.
- Any decision you make — to stay, to leave, to confront someone, to contact authorities, to say nothing — is your decision.
- We are not responsible or liable for relationship, safety, legal or financial outcomes arising from your use of this app.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
- We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability
We do not guarantee that MendRii will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may change, suspend or withdraw features as the product develops.
Intellectual property
- MendRii — its software, lessons, wording, design and branding — belongs to Jamason Counseling, LLC.
- You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your chosen plan.
- You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, scrape or circumvent technical limits of the service.
- Believe content infringes your rights? Email mendriiapp@gmail.com and we will review it; repeat infringement leads to account termination.
Not for emergencies and not evidence
Do not use MendRii in an emergency — contact your local emergency services. MendRii is not designed as an evidence-gathering tool and its output is not prepared for, or suitable for, court proceedings.
Acceptable use
- Use MendRii for personal education and reflection.
- Do not use it to monitor, profile, build a case against, or harass another person.
- You must not use the service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe intellectual property, or to interfere with its security.
Payments, subscriptions and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. In summary:
- The 7-Day Pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
- Monthly renews automatically at $9.99 each month and Annual Access at $59 each year until canceled.
- Cancel at any time — access continues to the end of the paid period.
- See our refund policy.
- Free access to helplines, safety planning and the free lessons never requires payment.
Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious misuse.
- You may close your account at any time from your account page — this deletes your prior saved records immediately.
- Where we terminate without cause, you may request a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period.
AI-assisted content
MendRii was created in part with artificial-intelligence assistance. Its educational material draws on published research and recognized domestic-violence resources, but may still contain errors or omissions. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking, never as a finding, score, assessment, diagnosis, forensic opinion or evidence.
Who can use MendRii
MendRii is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 and worried about a relationship, talk to a trusted adult, a school counselor, or one of the free helplines on our get help page — those resources are free and open to everyone.
Acceptance of these terms
Before your first Check-In result, you confirm that:
- MendRii is an educational tool and not an assessment.
- Content was created in part with AI assistance.
- You are 18 or over.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamason Counseling, LLC is not responsible for decisions made, actions taken, or relationship, safety or legal outcomes that follow from using it.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you. Your acceptance is stored on your own device, along with the date and the version of these terms. Continuing to use MendRii also constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Jamason Counseling, LLC is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction.
