Sharing MendRii
Sharing MendRii with other people
MendRii is educational software for the general public. Anyone is welcome to read it, link to it, or pass it on — including people who work with survivors. What follows is what MendRii is and is not, so nobody shares it under the wrong impression.
Please do not treat MendRii as
- a screening or assessment instrument of any kind;
- a risk, danger or lethality assessment;
- a determination that abuse occurred or that anyone is abusive;
- a clinical, forensic or professional framework;
- evidence for any legal proceeding;
- anything that has been clinically validated — it has not, and no professional endorsement is claimed or implied.
What is freely available
- The pattern library — each pattern with what it can look like, the honest counter-case for when it is something else, and sources.
- The reflection questions — no score, no verdict, safe to read through with someone.
- A plain way to keep a record, with the safety cautions that belong with it.
- How the content is developed and how the analysis works and where it is wrong — worth reading before recommending any tool like this to anyone.

MendRii is general-public educational software. It does not diagnose, does not assess risk, and its output is not evidence for any legal proceeding. It is not a substitute for the judgment of a domestic-violence advocate, clinician, attorney or emergency service.
